Week 1
In the first exercise, we are required to create a proposal for the mobile application project. We are required to redesign an existing app that are unsatisfied in terms of the user experience, interface design and more.
Criteria of selected application:
NO BIG COMPANY
SUFFICIENT COMMENT & REVIEW FROM APP STORE/PLAYSTORE (RECENT YEARS).
MAKE SURE THE APPS HAVE MANY PAGES (>10).
I will choose the niche mobile application software that I use, because these software are more necessary for reference.
User experience (UX) is king:
Simple and intuitive, easy to get started with, and reduces the learning cost.
Ensure the operation process is smooth and natural to prevent users from getting lost.
The core functions are prominent, avoiding the accumulation of irrelevant functions
These are the three software I chose, namely
1 Universal Studios software
2 u mobile
3 NetEase Cloud Music
FIG.1.1
Next comes my analysis of the three software programs. The proposal is presented in the form of a ppt
In this week's class, Mr.WONG told us the next steps and how to improve the current proposal. Next, we need to delve into the topic, determine our software direction, and conduct further in-depth research.
Three of my problems were also pointed out and I have improved on all of them
1 A summary needs to be added after the analysis of each software is completed
2 Translate all the evaluations of the software from Chinese into English
3 Highlight the key comments,Or enclose it with a circle
Week 2
FIG.1.2 universal studios app
Universal Studios App is a mobile application officially launched by Universal Studios, which is applicable to multiple parks (such as Hollywood and Orlando in the United States, Osaka in Japan, Beijing in China, etc.). The App may vary slightly depending on different parks, but its basic functions are roughly the same.
FIG.1.3 interface display
This week will mainly focus on the user survey of Universal Studios for in-depth exploration and research.
FIG.1.4 uers reviews
FIG.1.5 uers reviews
Mr.Wong told me that for the convenience of viewing, he asked me to circle the key comments and translate the Chinese comments into English.
Week 3FIG.1.6 main task
This week, the main task is to create page comparisons and study the interfaces of the software. I think this is a very important link. I divide the four main interfaces of the app into home, map, store, and personal.
HOME:Notice,Hours,Reservation,Itinerary
FIG.1.7 home
MAP:Rides, Shows,Events, Dining, Stores, Restrooms, Services, Hotel
STORE:Rides, Shows,Events, Dining, Stores, Restrooms, Services, Hotel
FIG.1.9 store
PERSONAL:Hotel, Packages, Pass,Coupon, Express, Gift Voucher, VIp, Parking and Phtoto
FIG.1.10 personal
Week 4
This week we had a class presentation. At the end of the presentation, Mr.Wong pointed out many points that needed to be addressed to me.
1 User comments don't need to be in Chinese. Just leave them in English
2 When comparing software, it's not enough to just place one icon; interfaces should be compared with each other
3 The analysis of advantages and disadvantages is missing, which is the key to the entire presentation

FEEDBACK
WEEK1
This week in class, the teacher gave a general introduction to what we should do this semester. We need to make a software of our own in the fourteenth week. For this software, we need to first select three software proposals, then choose one for in-depth research, and finally make it.
WEEK2
During the class, Mr.Wong analyzed each student one-on-one. I think he is a very, very meticulous and patient teacher. He gave me a very warm feeling, pointed out my problems and made improvements, making my direction of progress clearer.
WEEK3
This week, in class, we discussed with Mr.Wong from which directions the software for in-depth research should be modified and studied in depth. I divided it into five parts. They are respectively Functions Introduction, Research Methods and Process, User Experience (UI/UX) Analysis, and Competitor Comparison. Goals and Summaries, and References.
WEEK4
This week is the speech Week. I was the second-to-last speaker. After the presentation, I found many shortcomings. Mr.Wong also patiently pointed them out. I have already revised them all.
1 User comments don't need to be in Chinese. Just leave them in English
2 When comparing software, it's not enough to just place one icon; interfaces should be compared with each other
3 The analysis of advantages and disadvantages is missing, which is the key to the entire presentation
REFLECTION
What impressed me the most was the presentation in the fourth week. Through this presentation, I realized where my problems lay. I felt that the entire proposal needed to identify the software's issues, not only through online research and user analysis, but more importantly, by incorporating my own thoughts. After returning, I revised my ppt.
I have strengthened the comparison between the advantages and disadvantages and similar software. I have identified four points that no one has analyzed online and no visitors have complained about, and focused on analyzing them.
The entire early learning experience was very good. Mr.Wong gave a great impression. He was very meticulous and patient. He would point out my problems and sort them out to tell me. He could also speak Chinese when I couldn't understand the language. This was really kind.
